FAQ: Resources for Attending Phone Meetings
Backup Number
Â
If the main dial-in number is not working for you, you can connect using the alternate number:
-
Dial 1-559-546-1400
-
Enter the dial-in number followed by pound: 667-770-1523#
-
Enter the access code followed by pound: 601805#
Â
Free Smartphone App
Our phone service uses Free Conference Call HD, which provides a free smartphone app that lets you connect to OCA phone meetings over the internet, avoiding long-distance or cellular conference call charges.
Â
Download the App
Â
-
Search your device's app store for FCC HD (not FCC, which is a different app).
-
Or download it from the Free Conference Call HD website.
Â
Connect Using the App
Â
-
Open the FCC HD app.
-
Tap + New to add a meeting.
-
For callers in the U.S. or Canada: Enter the main dial-in number.
-
For callers outside the U.S. or Canada: Change the country to United States (+1), then enter the main dial-in number.
-
Enter the access code (you do not need to enter #).
-
Tap Join.
-
When prompted, choose whether to join over the phone network or over the internet. In most cases, you will want to join over the internet.
Â
Note:
-
If you join over the phone network, the app may display a phone number that is different from the published dial-in number. Don't worry—this is simply the number the app uses internally to connect you to the correct meeting.
-
After you've joined a meeting once, the app remembers the dial-in number and access code, so you won't need to enter them again.
-
New meetings are automatically named FCC HD Meeting. To rename a meeting, open it in the app, tap the pencil icon next to the meeting name, and enter a name such as OCA Phone Meetings.
Â
Calling In Using the Free VoIP Dialer
Â
You can also join meetings over the internet using the free VoIP Dialer available on the Free Conference Call HD website. See their site for instructions.
